Complicated formulas you might have not heard before

Haven’t yet heard about complicated formulas in excel before? Or some of those are unfamiliar to you? You can use Excel to calculate percentages and compound interest, count and sum cells based on specific criteria, find average, and even get a sample deviation of a given set of values. In MS Excel, formulas are equations that perform various calculations in your worksheets. All this can be done by using Excel formulas

Here are some unfamiliar formulas for you that you must learn:

· =SUM (C4: C7) or =SUM (C4, C5, C6, C7) A function used to compute for the summation of a number of ranges.

· =C7- C4 A function used to subtract two cells

· =AVERAGE (C4:C7) A function used to compute for the average of the number of a range

· =COUNTIF (C4:C7, “Yes”) A function used to count the cells with a specified content within a range

· =ROUND (H6/H2*100,2) A function to compute the percentage score of the total number of items for quizzes and round it to two decimal places

· =ROUND (H4*.25,2) A function used to compute for the weighted score of the percentage score and round it to two decimal places

· =VLOOKUP (S2,V1:W32,2,TRUE) A formula use to transmute the number of initial grade to the nearest number in a given rage. The grade is then rounded off two decimal places
